4-H Committee T-Shirts
The 4-H Committee is ordering shirts for each member. (Sizes were
taken off of the enrollment forms.) Additional shirts may be
ordered for the following:
Tee shirts 4.00
Long sleeve tee shirts 8.00
Hoodies 12.50
Sizes: Youth - Small Med Large
Adut - Small, Med, Large xl 2X 3x
They will be ordering twice:
June 5th is our 1st round:
August 1st would be the 2nd round for shirt orders
The shirts are white with green lettering and have writing on both front and back. These shirts will help establish a link between OSU Extension and the 4-H program. The 4-H members should receive their shirts in July. If you are interested in purchasing additional shirts please let us know so that we can get an order together to get to the Extension Office.
- The Brown County Junior 4-H Dog Department is offering hand crafted
Dog Toys either as a completed Toy or as a Craft Kit. Please help the
Brown County Junior 4-H Dog Department by purchasing some of these
items and by asking other dog owners you may know. Also, be sure to
let people know about 4-H and our growing 4-H dog department and ask

Meat chickens single fryer and meat pen will be ordered through the dept. Chickens are to be ordered by June 1st.

The exhibitor will pick up their chicks on August 3rd. 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the small animal barn. They do not need to bring the chicks to tag in as the paperwork will already be on file.
- Quality Assurance All Swine Exhibitors MUST ATTEND a session given by a certified Extension Agent or certified Ag Advisor, you will not be able to take the test in place of the class this year.
- New Address for Extension Office - 325 West State, Bldg. B, Georgetown, Ohio 45121
- 2011 Sale - Exhibitors in the 2011 sale may only go through the Junior Fair Sale one time, unless they have champions
- Fair Changes - Self Determined Projects - will be judged in July. ATV judging will be judged in July if members wish to try out for the State Fair. Any small animal self-determined projects need to be brought to small animal tag-in and will be judged as normal at the fair.
Junior/Intermediate Camp (Camp Graham) - June 15 -18, 2010 - See head advisor or county website for form brown.osu.edu
Baking Event at Fair - Anyone entering the baking event (on Thursday) will have to complete an interview. If you can not be at the fair that day you should not enter the event
Summer Judging - Will be held on July 15, 2010

Horse Speaking/Safety Speaking/Skits - June 1st at 6:00 pm - Exstention Office
